United Breaks Ground on Seminole Store

Hale County Won’t Restrict Fourth Of July Fireworks

 Hale County commissioners voted against restricting aerial fireworks ahead of the Fourth of July. Officials cited recent rainfall and improved conditions, allowing holiday firework sales and use to proceed without additional county restrictions.

Levelland Council Reviews Zoning, Vendor Rules

DPS Identifies Driver Killed in Crash

 The Texas Department of Public Safety identified 54-year-old Clodoaldo Salas as the driver killed in a June 6 semi-truck crash on U.S. Highway 84. Investigators said the truck crossed multiple lanes before overturning and coming to rest on its side.

Two Killed In Yoakum County Crash
